Introduction

Tapestry is a female voice ensemble who meet on Tuesday mornings in Charvil Village Hall between 10.30 and 12 noon. We sing popular Jazz and Show music in three parts and regularly take part in festivals, competitions and concerts. Most of our music is accompanied by our Musical Director.

Tapestry are also available to sing at weddings and local events and are more than happy to learn something especially for your occasion if required.

If you are a reasonably confident performer, can read music and are interested in joining us, please contact our membership secretary to arrange an informal audition.

On Saturday 14th May we took part in the Cheltenham Festival of Performing Arts, coming first in the 'Songs From The Shows' class for which we were awarded the Cotswold Savoyards Glass Trophy.

We recently joined members of Charvil Girls Choir and Charvil Voices to back the band Blake during their concert at the Anvil in Basingstoke.
